The US Virgin Islands is preparing to regulate online gaming after Attorney General Vincent Frazer issued an opinion ruling that the territory’s existing online gaming legislation is legal.
In March the territory’s Casino Control Commission requested an opinion from AG Vincent Frazer on the legality of the Virgin Islands Internet Gaming and Internet Gambling Act, which was passed in July 2001, regarding its compliance with federal and territorial law.
