The Australian state of Victoria has increased its fees for the publication and use of thoroughbred race fields across the state, which will be applied to all betting service providers.
Following a review of its Race Fields Policy, Racing Victoria has determined that an enhanced model will be adopted which differentiates between traditional pari-mutuel (tote) betting and non pari-mutuel betting, such as fixed odds, exchange and derivative betting.
