The Spanish government has officially approved regulations for online slots and exchange betting with the publication of the Ministerial Orders for each vertical in the country’s official gazette.
Spain's Ministry of Finance and Public Administration described the legislation as being aligned with current standards in neighbouring regulated gambling markets such as Denmark, Italy and the UK, providing legal certainty to operators and participants.
