Caesars Interactive Entertainment has been fined $15,000 by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) after allowing self-excluded players to gamble online, marking the third time it has been fined for breaches of the state’s regulations.
The DGE filed a complaint in April this year seeking sanctions against the operator, after it was found to have allowed self-excluded gamblers to create iGaming accounts, with five actually able to place bets online.
