NZ High Court overturns decision to cut problem gambling funding

The High Court of New Zealand has overturned the government's decision to cut funding for the Problem Gambling Foundation of New Zealand (PGFNZ), the country’s largest body focused on the treatment of gambling addicts.

The decision came more than a year after the New Zealand government decided to switch to regional Asian service providers for Auckland and the Canterbury/West Coast regions following a request for proposals in 2013.
