The bill introduced by Assemblyman Adam Gray to regulate daily fantasy sports (DFS) in California has moved a step closer to being passed into law after the Government Organisation Committee voted overwhelmingly in favour of the legislation.
Gray’s Internet Fantasy Sports Games Consumer Protection Act (AB1437) was passed by the Assembly committee after 18 members voted in favour, with only one voting against and two abstentions.
