Vermont senator Kevin Mullin has put forward a bill to legalise daily fantasy sports (DFS) contests in the state, though the proposed legislation has already prompted opposition from Assistant Attorney General John Treadwell.
Mullin’s S.223, pertaining to the regulation of fantasy sports contests, has been passed to the Senate’s Committee on Economic Development, Housing & General Affairs, and would amend Vermont laws to add a paragraph on DFS.
