The UK Gambling Commission acted within its powers when it refused to grant pub and hotel operator Greene King a licence to offer bingo in its venues, a UK court has ruled.
The Upper Tribunal found that the Commission has the legal power to refuse an application for an operating licence if it considers granting the application would not be consistent with its licensing objectives.
