666Bet has again repeated that it is unable to process customer withdrawals until it can agree a deal to temporarily relaunch its offering with a white label partner, as the UK Gambling Commission continues to put pressure on the company to return funds to players.

The operator said it has been repeatedly told by its potential white label software provider that it would require approval from the UK regulator before it can bring its Metro Play and 666Bet sites back online.

However the Gambling Commission rejected this claim. In a statement to Gaming Intelligence it said: “The Commission made it clear, when it suspended Metro Play Limited’s licence on March 20th, that it is authorised to settle any outstanding winning bets that it accepted in reliance on its operating licence and return any outstanding balances to customers – and we expect it to do so.
