After years of failed attempts to bring regulated sports betting to New Jersey, state lawmakers have introduced legislation to repeal all prohibitions against wagering on all professional, collegiate, or amateur sports contests.
Contrary to previous efforts which sought to regulate sports betting by restricting the activity to state-licensed gaming operations and players over the age of 21, the proposed legislation would make the activity totally unregulated.
