The governing body for snooker and billiards, the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA), has taken steps to further secure the integrity of its competitions through a new partnership with Sportradar.
The three-year agreement will see the WPBSA deploy Sportradar Integrity Services' Fraud Detection System to monitor thousands of snooker matches each year, with intelligence and investigatory support provided by Sportradar as required. The association will also hold annual workshops to educate stakeholders on integrity issues.
