New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s decision to rule daily fantasy sports (DFS) a form of gambling and order industry giants FanDuel and DraftKings out of the state has prompted the pair to file lawsuits accusing him of illegally targeting their businesses.

In separate suits filed Friday at the Supreme Court of New York County, FanDuel and DraftKings claim that their businesses rely on players’ skill rather than elements of chance, meaning they have done nothing wrong by offering their products to players in the state.

DraftKings’ statement accuses Schneiderman of attempting to bully it into shutting down without offering a chance for the company to justify itself, “using strong-arm tactics and defying the rule of law.”
