Federal authorities in Argentina have ramped up enforcement action against unlicensed iGaming operators, with a court in Buenos Aires issuing an order preventing the owners of online betting site Miljugadas.com from leaving the country.
The travel ban marks the first such ruling by the Criminal Court in relation to online gaming and follows the reclassification of unauthorized online gambling as a federal crime punishable by up to six years imprisonment.
