Spanish political party Ciudadanos (Citizens) has introduced a non-legislative proposal to the country's Congress with a view to regulating esports.
The proposal (161/002747) was published in Spain's Official State Gazette last week, and examines the need to regulate esports while taking into account the exponential growth and consolidation the sector has witnessed in recent years.
