The Norwegian Gambling Authority (Lotteritilsynet) has launched a public consultation into proposed changes to strengthen the country's payments ban for illegal online gambling.
The current ban has been in place since 2010 and aims to prevent Norwegian financial institutions from processing transactions for online gaming companies that are not licensed by the regulator.
