The state of New Hampshire has filed a complaint challenging the US Department of Justice (DOJ) Opinion that the 1961 Wire Act applies to lottery sales over the Internet.
The filing of the complaint in the US District Court for New Hampshire was announced by Governor Chris Sununu, Attorney General Gordon MacDonald, and New Hampshire Lottery Executive Director Charlie McIntyre.
