Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signed legislation Monday to authorise and regulate sports betting and fantasy sports contests.
Sports betting would be operated by the state’s licensed gaming facilities and pari-mutuel racetracks, subject to licensure and payment of an initial application fee of $45,000 and annual renewal fee of $10,000.
