Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen has issued penalty fees totaling SEK14m (€1.3m) to operators Betway and Mandalorian Technologies for violating regulations regarding bonus offers to customers.
The regulator said that the operators had offered their customers bonuses on repeated occasions, which it considered to be a “serious” violation of the country’s regulations.
Under Sweden’s new regulations, operators are only allowed to offer a bonus to online players once.
