The Netherlands gambling regulator has said that its recent crackdown on online gambling affiliates resulted in the removal of gambling advertising from 23 websites, with a further three the subject of an ongoing investigation.
The crackdown comes ahead of the planned re-regulation of the Netherlands gambling market in 2021, with online gaming continuing to be illegal under Dutch law until that time.
