Spanish authorities have arrested 28 people following an investigation into match-fixing in the country’s third and fourth division football leagues.

Spain’s National Police carried out searches across Murcia, Extremadura, Albacete, Barcelona and Madrid on Monday, including the offices of several football clubs, following allegations that more than 50 games were corrupted over the past three seasons.
