Jersey adopts new remote gambling legislation

The Assembly of the States of Jersey voted Thursday to approve new remote gambling legislation which enables online gaming operators to be licensed and regulated there.

The re-named Gambling (Remote Gambling) (Jersey) Regulations 2008 was approved in Assembly Thursday by a vote of 45 to 4 and comes into force on March 17th.
