The standstill period for Germany’s new draft law on gambling has been extended for a further month following receipt of detailed opinions from the European Commission and Malta, as well as the issue of comments from the United Kingdom.
Last month, leaders of Germany’s 16 states delayed a vote on the new draft State Treaty on Gaming in order to consider the response to the draft law from the European Commission before proceeding.
