The New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs intends to file civil penalty proceedings against casino operator SkyCity Entertainment Group for breaching anti-money laundering laws.
The Department is expected to file civil penalty proceedings in the High Court later this week against SkyCity Casino Management Limited (SCML) for non-compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009.
