Draft legislation was introduced in the Australian state of Queensland Thursday to prohibit online wagering operators from offering inducements to new customers.
Queensland Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Yvette D’Ath said that the proposed law will help to minimise gambling related harm by preventing operators from offering any inducement to players to open an account or to refer a friend to open an account.
