Vermont looks set to launch its regulated sports betting market in early 2024 after lawmakers voted Tuesday in favour of a bill to legalise online betting.
The bill now heads to Governor Phil Scott for approval and will come into force with immediate effect.
It will allow up to six online sports betting operators to serve players in Vermont who are over the age of 21, under the authority of the Department for Liquor and Lottery.
