President Lula da Silva of Brazil has approved legislation to regulate sports betting and online gaming.
Bill No. 3,626 of 2023 was approved by the President and published in an extra edition of the Official Gazette on 30 December 2023 with a number of vetoes.
The Bill was approved by the Chamber of Deputies on 22 December and will contribute to the government’s zero deficit goal for 2024.
