British political public policy think-tank The Social Market Foundation has called for a new multimillion-pound statutory levy to fund the prevention and treatment of gambling-related harm in the United Kingdom.
The call accompanies the publication of a report by the SMF which proposes the creation of a new independent health board to oversee the spending of levy money, led by the Department of Health.
