The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has established a new Sports Integrity Unit to gather and share intelligence on suspicious betting activity.
The unit will serve as a liaison with local and foreign regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, bet monitoring systems, sports governing bodies and gaming operators, and will be headed up by MGA senior executive Antonio Zerafa as sports integrity officer.
