Gibraltar-based Lottoland has experienced huge success since its inception in 2013 as a B2C lottery provider. Now it wants to replicate that success in the B2B space. Chief executive Nigel Birrell and B2B director Michael Bogie speak to Gaming Intelligence about the logic behind the move.

Lottoland’s recent appointment of Bogie (pictured) as director of B2B was a major statement to the industry. He has spent the past decade honing his deal-making skills at and previously PartyGaming – a company whose B2B strategy Lottoland says it admires.

Bogie was most recently head of business development at, where he was involved in the company’s most significant B2B deals. These include the Borgata deal in Atlantic City and agreements in Europe with the likes of Danske Spil and PMU.

With Bogie now on board, Lottoland believes it is ready to push forward with its B2B expansion plans, having initially begun preparations last year under Glen Bullen, who has now left the company.
