Sportnco, the B2B subsidiary of French online betting operator France Pari, is to provide French horse racing tote specialist ZEturf with its fixed odds betting and trading platform.
ZEturf, which has traditionally been focused on the horse racing sector, has decided to diversify its core product offering and will launch a sportsbook offering ahead of this summer’s football World Cup in Brazil.
The launch of a French sportsbook offering is subject to regulatory approval from the country’s regulator L’Autorité de regulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL), although ZEturf will also launch a dot.com offering in French, English and Spanish.
Herve Schlosser, founder and president of France Pari and Sportnco, noted that the deal means the B2B division now powers half of France’s ten licensed sports betting operators.
He added that ZEturf’s decision to launch a dot.com offering showed that Sportnco had the capacity to grow outside of its core French market.
Sportnco’s growth over the past year was credited for driving a 30 per cent growth in France Pari revenues in the company’s full-year results for 2013. Its existing deals with NetBet, JOAonline, Genybet and France-pari.fr earned the company more than €0.5m in royalties, with amounts staked more than doubling in 2013 to €30m.
