Australian NRL club under fire after granting stadium naming rights to Lottoland

Lottery betting specialist Lottoland Australia has secured the naming rights to the home ground of Australian National Rugby League (NRL) team the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, prompting outrage from anti-gambling Senator Nick Xenophon.

The seven-figure sponsorship deal will see Lottoland’s logo feature on the back of the Sea Eagles’ team shirts for the next two years, and also gives the gaming operator naming rights to the club’s 23,000-capacity Brookvale Oval stadium, which will be renamed as Lottoland on [...]
