Online betting and gaming giant bet365 has significantly expanded its presence in the Spanish football sponsorship market, agreeing betting partnerships with half of the clubs in La Liga.
The operator has secured two-year agreements with ten clubs in total until June 2020, benefiting from a brand presence at all of the clubs’ stadiums, as well as through the clubs’ official websites and other digital assets.
The agreements make bet365 the leading betting sponsor in Spanish football, with rivals such as Betway sponsoring Levante UD, CD Leganés and Deportivo Alavés.
Other operators active in the Spanish football sponsorship market include Codere (Real Madrid), Betfair (Barcelona and Sevilla), bwin (Atlético de Madrid and Valencia), Kirolbet (Real Sociedad) and Marathonbet (Girona).
