Bitcoin lottery operator Crypto Millions Lotto has been named as the official online lottery partner of English Premier League football club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Curaçao-licensed site allows players to bet on the outcome of Germany's 6aus49 lottery game, which features draws every Wednesday and Saturday.
It offers a jackpot starting at US$30m, with all prizes paid in Bitcoin except the jackpot and the $1m prize for picking 6 numbers, which can be paid in any currency.
The operator said that the partnership with Wolves would help bring crypto currency further into the mainstream and introduce the brand to a global audience, particularly across Asia, Latin America, Canada, Russia and the CIS region.
“We are delighted to have found a partner that has the same disruptive ethos as ourselves,” said Crypto Millions Lotto chief executive Sulim Malook. “Wolves' success last year has put the club's name on the world stage in a sport that is by far the most watched on the planet. As a company, we are big football fans, and Wolves is the most crypto-friendly club in England. They were an obvious choice.”
Wolves head of commercial Steve Morton said: “We're delighted to partner with Crypto Millions Lotto, an ambitious company that is keen to increase its exposure with the help of Wolves' global reach across various platforms.
“We're also excited to develop our relationship, which will also see the Wolves brand reach new audiences in Eastern Europe and South America.”
