Superbet agrees second football sponsorship deal in Brazil

Superbet has agreed its second club partnership in Brazil after agreeing a new shirt sponsorship deal with Rio de Janeiro-based Fluminense FC.

The agreement will see Superbet’s logo feature on the front of both the men's and women's football shirts for the next three seasons, beginning with last night’s game against Colo-Colo.

“The arrival of Superbet as our partner involves understanding the value and size of Fluminense,” said Fluminense president Mário Bittencourt. “We are a club with many glories, which went through a process of regaining credibility achieved through a work philosophy that also brought great titles as a result.

“We hope that, together, Fluminense and Superbet build a beautiful history, continuing the path of victories and achievements.”

Superbet Brasil CEO Alexandre Fonseca added: “For us at Superbet, it is a pleasure and an honor to join a century-old club with a thousand glories like Fluminense. We are looking for new super seasons, being sure that together we will make history.”

Founded in 1902, Fluminense is the oldest club in Rio de Janeiro and has won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série four times, most recently in 2012. Superbet also sponsors São Paulo FC.
