The U.S state of Pennsylvania has issued a Request for Qualifications to pursue a private management agreement for the Pennsylvania Lottery, as the state looks to maximise the lottery’s performance and increase revenues that support programmes serving older Pennsylvanians.
If it follows through with the plans, Pennsylvania will be following the lead of Illinois which last year signed a ten-year private management agreement with Northstar Lottery Group, a joint venture between GTECH Corporation and Scientific Games.
