Online gaming operator 888 said Monday that it has reached agreement with Spanish authorities regarding taxes payable on its previous activities in the country.
The company said it has completed tax self-assessment returns covering the period between January 2009 and May 2011, agreeing to make a one-off payment of €7.4m plus surcharges and interest of up to €1.3m. It added that the payment would be made from existing cash resources.
