Australia’s Tabcorp Holdings will lose its rights to broadcast thoroughbred horse racing in New South Wales and Victoria from tomorrow following a breakdown in negotiations with media rights holder ThoroughVisioN (TVN).
The previous long-term contract in place between Tabcorp subsidiary Sky Racing and TVN expired on December 31st 2012. It has since formed the basis of multiple short-term rollover arrangements, while the parties worked to agree a new, long-term arrangement.
