Shares in spread betting and CFD provider Plus500 climbed nearly 5 per cent in London this morning after the company confirmed plans to begin signing up new UK customers from January next year, after strengthening its management team.
The provider was moved to deny “inaccurate external comments” that it is not subject to regulatory restrictions that prevent it from onboarding new customers, after freezing thousands of UK investors’ accounts in May this year.
