The South Africa Rugby Union (SARU) has signed an agreement with sports data supplier Sportradar to help effectively leverage its data and protect teams from match-fixing.
The agreement’s data component positions Sportradar as a non-exclusive collector, processor and distributor of data from almost 300 rugby matches played in South Africa. This includes the ABSA Currie Cup qualification matches, as well as the ABSA Currie Cup Premier and First Division Games, the country’s top two rugby leagues.
