The online gambling market grew by 12 per cent in 2010 to US$29.3bn, according to a new report from Global Betting and Gaming Consultants (GBGC), with sports betting accounting for nearly half of the online market.
Following an independent analysis of internet gambling worldwide, GBGC said that the online gambling market was worth US$29.3bn to operators last year, and will continue growing as countries move increasingly to allow internet betting to develop.
