Czech gaming operator Tipsport has been forced into a last minute name change for its new lottery product following a legal challenge by rival Sazka.
Sazka was in court last week challenging Tipsport’s use of the name Tipsportca for a new numerical lottery scheduled for launch this week. Sazka claims ownership of the brand Sportca and is alleging trademark violation.
The Prague Municipal Court has issued an interim injunction preventing Tipsport from using the name.
