Launch marks Lottoplay’s commercial debut one year after its founding by two-time Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 honouree Hili Shakked
Tel Aviv-headquartered Lottoplay has launched its first iLottery game after going live with the DC Lottery through a partnership with EQL Games.
Lottoplay’s first eInstant game is Vegas Xtra Plays, which went live this week with DC Lottery.
“Launching Vegas Xtra Plays less than a year after founding Lottoplay is an exciting achievement, but it’s only the first step,” said Shakked, who founded Lottoplay last August. “We have assembled an exceptional team and built a strong foundation that will enable us to deliver innovative iLottery games for years to come.
“We’re excited about the rich and innovative pipeline of titles ahead, and I would like to thank the team at EQL Games for their collaboration and support throughout this launch.”
EQL Games founder and CEO Brad Cummings said: “We are really excited to be the first to bring Lottoplay’s products to lotteries and their players. Hili’s proven history speaks for itself as one of the best to ever design eInstant games and the team he is building is first-class. We look forward to expanding their content portfolio across North America.”
DC Lottery executive director Randy Burnside added: “The DC Lottery welcomes Lottoplay to the DC Lottery’s roster of games. Given Hili’s track record with games, we are excited to see how Vegas Xtra Plays performs in our marketplace. We expect nothing but upside from this game.”
Shakked was honoured in the Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 of 2024 while serving as managing director of NeoGames Studios, and was honoured in the very first Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 of 2012 as head of poker at 888 Holdings (now part of evoke).
