Athens-listed operator and supplier Intralot has announced plans to jointly bid for an online betting licence in Greece with telecommunications giant Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE), while also confirming the sale of its stake in Gamenet in Italy for €75m.
Intralot and OTE will form a new entity to operate in the online sports betting sector in Greece, which will be majority-controlled by OTE.
