French regulator L’autorité de regulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) has appointed long-serving employee Gilles Crespin as its new chief executive.
Crespin, who has been promoted from his role of deputy director general, has been involved in the establishment of France’s gambling legislation since 2009.
His predecessor, Frédéric Épaulard, has stepped down from his role to take early retirement.
