Athens-listed lottery and gaming supplier Intralot has appointed Richard Bateson as CEO of its US subsidiary Intralot Inc.
Bateson has served as chief commercial officer of Intralot Inc since April 2023 and has extensive experience in the lottery sector, having also served at former UK National Lottery operator Camelot and Jumbo Interactive in Australia.
He assumes the role from Nikolaos Nikolakopoulos, who took over as Intralot Group CEO in July but remains executive chairman of the US business.
Intralot also confirmed the appointment of Georgios Xanthos as group tax and accounting director, effective from 1 January, replacing the retiring Vassileios Vasdaris.
Xanthos has been serving as Intralot’s consolidation accounting director since 2021.
Shares in Intralot SA (ATH:INLOT) were trading 0.62 per cent higher at €0.98 per share in Athens Friday afternoon.
