Testing and certification services provider Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has promoted Zachary Kastelic to vice president of legal.
The promotion gives Kastelic responsibility for GLI’s legal department, which includes contracts, due diligence, litigation, and other general corporate matters.
Kastelic has been with the company since February 2022, first serving as assistant corporate counsel and then associate general counsel.
Before his time at GLI, Kastelic served as VP of compliance and legal at PlayUp and also held roles at a number of sports teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Mavericks and the Corpus Christi Hooks.
“Compliance is our primary responsibility to the global gaming industry, and our legal team, alongside our compliance teams, are at the forefront of our compliance efforts,” said GLI president and CEO James Maida.
