Ericson joins the live casino supplier from payments firm Klarna

Avanti Studios has brought in experienced finance executive Jonas Ericson to serve as chief financial officer.

Ericson joins the live casino supplier from international payments company Klarna, where he served for more than six years, most recently as global head of finance.

“Making the switch from an established company like Klarna to an exciting start-up is always a big decision, but when I spoke to Gustaf (Hagman) and Jonas (Delin), I was completely sold on their vision,” said Ericson.

“No one in the live casino space is even attempting the ideas that Avanti Studios has already implemented, and I’m looking forward to using this position to grow the brand’s profitability and global impact as CFO.”

Avanti Studios was launched in January 2026 by LeoVegas founder Gustaf Hagman and Authentic Gaming founder Jonas Delin. Since then, the company has agreed a distribution deal with Light & Wonder, as well as supply deals with the likes of bet365 and Entain.

In July, Avanti brought in former Evolution executive Steven Tabone to serve as commercial director.

Hagman said: “Avanti Studios is delighted to welcome Jonas Ericson as its chief financial officer in a move that will further strengthen our C-Level team at a crucial stage of development for the company.

“Jonas joins our organisation having already accrued a wealth of experience in new product implementation, strategic and operational development and senior management, making him the ideal fit to build our brand going forward.”
