Heather Zampatti, head of wealth management at Bell Potter Securities, has been appointed as the new chairwoman of the Lotteries Commission of Western Australia (Lotterywest).
Western Australia Premier Colin Barnett announced Zampatti’s appointment as chairwoman last week, replacing John Atkins who had held the role since March 2010. The appointment takes effect immediately.
Premier Barnett said Zampatti had strong credentials to carry out the role, including a background in strategic planning, financial management and governance.
