Football Pools operator Sportech plc has strengthened its board with the appointment of Playtech’s Roger Withers as the company’s new non-executive chairman, taking over from acting chairman John Barnes.
Withers is currently non-executive chairman of Playtech, owner of a 10 per cent shareholding in Sportech.
