Aristocrat seeking new US-based non-executive director

Sydney-listed gaming supplier Aristocrat Leisure has begun a search for a new US-based non-executive director to join the company’s Board.

The new Board member will replace Jennifer Aument, who has resigned as non-executive director after accepting a CEO role in the transport sector in the United States, which will significantly increase her professional commitments.

“We are disappointed that Jennifer has resigned as a result of her executive appointment, however we understand that her skills are highly valued,” said Aristocrat chairman Neil Chatfield. “We thank her for the excellent contribution she has made since being nominated to our board in April 2023. We wish Jennifer all the best in her new role.”

As a result of Aument’s resignation, Aristocrat has withdrawn the resolution relating to her election (Resolution 2) which was proposed to be put to shareholders at Aristocrat’s forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Shares in Aristocrat Leisure Ltd (ASX:ALL) closed marginally higher by 0.50 per cent at AUD$44.35 per share in Sydney Tuesday.
